Notice of temporary gallery closures

Please note that following the recent electrical fire, Gallery 5 (The Shed) and Gallery 6 (Mini Q) will remain closed until further notice. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Plan your visit

To guarantee a visit to Questacon, please pre-book your ticket. Before your visit, read our ticketing information.

To ensure a comfortable experience for our visitors, we have introduced timed entry. Visitor numbers are limited, and tickets can sell out quickly, especially on weekends and school holidays.

We suggest that you allow at least 4 hours to see our exhibitions, café, shop and to explore the surrounding areas of Questacon. We would suggest at least 2 hours if you just wanted to see our exhibitions.
