Visitors with hearing aids and cochlear implants

If you have a hearing aid or cochlear implants, don’t lean your head against the speakers in individual exhibits. Avoid using headphones in exhibits unless you are used to using them.

If you prefer not to touch a multimedia touchscreen, you can use them by tapping the screen with the rubber end of a pencil.

Static electricity can be generated from carpet and furniture. If this is a concern, you should remove your external devices. Don’t stand close to or touch Van de Graaff generators or people connected to them.

Caged Lightning – generates an electrical field and loud noise. However the exhibit is insulated.

Gallery 7: Excite@Q

This gallery is naturally loud due to excited visitors and high airflow exhibits like Whoosh. This may be uncomfortable for you, but it won’t damage your device.
