Your health and safety is our priority
To help you feel safe, we have put in place COVID-19 safety measures, including:
- limits in the number of people who can attend each session
- physical distancing, floor markers and other awareness signage
- signage in each gallery that shows how to safely interact with our exhibits – some exhibits can only be activated by our staff and others can be used by visitors
- hand sanitiser stations throughout the building
- regular and extra cleaning procedures
How you can help by:
- following directions from our staff.
- physically distance. Ensure that you maintain a distance of at least 1.5 m from other people.
- practising good hygiene. Wash your hands well with soap and water and use the provided hand sanitiser located around the Centre.
- wearing a mask. Masks can help protect you and those around you.
- staying home if unwell. Do not come to Questacon if you are unwell or have been advised by health authorities to self-isolate or quarantine.

What's different
Pre-booking is recommended
To guarantee a visit to Questacon, please pre-book your tickets online.
Visitor numbers are limited and tickets can sell out quickly, particularly on weekends and during school holidays.
When buying your tickets, please note:
- Each visitor needs their own entry ticket. This includes infants and toddlers.
- You’ll need to select an entry time. A limited number of tickets are available for each entry time, to ensure that we can follow COVID-19 health and safety guidelines and everyone can observe physical distancing.
- You can’t buy tickets over the phone, by email or on social media.
- It is important for you to arrive on time for your session, due to the timed-entry requirements.
- Make sure you book for the correct session day and time. Unfortunately, we cannot refund tickets if bought for the wrong time.
- Please provide contact details when booking in case we need to contact you about your visit.
For more information, visit our ticketing page.
