Gas explosions, ice-cream made from liquid nitrogen and a range of slithery reptiles–including snakes and crocodiles–were on show at Questacon – The National Science and Technology Centre during its extremely popular Members’ Night on Friday 12 June 2015.
Almost 3000 people visited the Centre throughout the night to watch shows, take part in special activities and use the hands-on exhibits.
The event programme included additional entertainment and shows:
- Dinostory 6 “The Lizard of Oz”
- Dino-Science
- Explodaganza
- Rip Slash Go Predators vs Prey
- Glow in the dark Cirquaholics
- UV face painting
- Liquid nitrogen ice-cream
- Green screen selfies
- Goannas, pythons, crocodiles and turtles with Reptiles Inc.
- Rocket building and launching
It was fantastic to see so many families having a wonderful time throughout Questacon. There is a selection of images available on Questacon’s Facebook page.
Given the popularity of the night Questacon is already thinking about its next Member event. If you would like more information about Questacon membership visit the Q Club page on Questacon’s website.
