Questacon – The National Science and Technology Centre was recently awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award. The accolade honours hospitality excellence, and is awarded to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor.

TripAdvisor is the world's largest travel site, offering trusted advice from real travellers, enabling users to plan and have the perfect trip. TripAdvisor selects Certificate of Excellence winners using a proprietary algorithm takes into account review ratings. Businesses must maintain an overall TripAdvisor ‘bubble rating’ of at least four out of five and a certain volume and recency of reviews.

Winning the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is a source of pride for the entire team at Questacon.

“This award is due to consistently good feedback from members of the public who have taken the time to write about their experiences while visiting Questacon.  This is an exciting and prestigious award in the Tourism Industry worldwide, with TripAdvisor being one of the most popular international travel websites,” said Questacon General Manager, Kate Driver.

“TripAdvisor is pleased to honour exceptional hospitality businesses for consistent excellence,” said Marc Charron, President of TripAdvisor for Business.

“The Certificate of Excellence award gives top performing establishments around the world the recognition they deserve, based on feedback from those who matter most – their customers. From Australia to Zimbabwe, we want to applaud exceptional hospitality businesses for offering TripAdvisor travellers a great customer experience.”

Honest feedback on TripAdvisor is highly valued by Questacon and is monitored closely to help to continually improve customer service and visitor experiences.
