​Block Play

​Block play is a facilitated, open-ended and child-led activity that ignites the imagination. Under the 7-metre diameter scale model of the Moon, children build blocks to create structures that are out of this world! 

Block play supports children to explore cause and effect and develop spatial reasoning skills. 

This interactive space is perfect for our littlest scientists to explore and create while Mini Q is out of action.

• ​Recommended for children aged 0 to 8 years old and their caregivers. 
• Everyone wanting to attend block play requires a Questacon general admission ticket.
• Members entry does not require booking.
• Block play will run daily from 9 am to 5 pm.
