Discovery Quest is an online quiz that you can enjoy while you move through the galleries. Experiment with exhibits, solve series or try your hand at perplexing puzzles! Following Discovery Quest is a great way to engage your kids or family in the science behind each exhibit. You’ll find out more fun facts and interesting background behind each question.
Discovery Quest is for everyone but we’d recommend ages 8+. The experience is suitable for regular visitors and first-time visitors alike!

This Discovery Quest is for everyone, but we'd recommend ages 8+. It's for regular visitors and first-time visitors alike! The questions vary in difficulty, and it's fun for the whole family to play together.
There are 13 questions in total, and some are more challenging than others. This game will add a couple of minutes to your time in each Gallery, adding around an hour to your visit in total. All of the questions are multiple-choice, and there are hints for every question.
If you'd like to play while minimising screen time, we'd recommend playing as a group! Only one person needs to use their phone to ask the questions, access the hints and input answers. But if you'd prefer to leave your phones in your bag, no worries - this game is not necessary to have a great time at Questacon.
Yes! If you close and reopen your browser, returning to this webpage will resume this game where you left off. You can use the navigation buttons at the bottom to move between questions at any stage of the game.
Of course! In places where two people can work together to solve a puzzle, there are single-player alternatives provided in the hints.
